About Florida Auto Exchange

It all started in January of 1988. We opened our store at 1901 Main st in an old house on eight acres of land in Dunedin. We began selling inexpensive used cars and learned very quickly there was a huge need to help our customers finance their purchase. So it wasn't long before we began to finance our customers purchases. We also found there was a need to service the cars we were selling. So within the year we added a service department. In the 6 years we were at that location we were able to grow enough to purchase the location where we are today on the corner of Main St. and Belcher Rd in 1994.

In 1997 Rent A Used Car Rental which is located just a quarter mile from us across 580 came available for purchase. We bought this location and the car rental operation because of the auto repair facility at that location. With our auto repair business ever increasing we needed more room so we moved our service and office to that location at 2300 State Road 580. In 2004 the auto repair facility next door became available and we purchased that to expand our auto repair business. In 2007 we were granted an Isuzu franchise that we moved into our property at 2316 State Road 580. In 2009 Isuzu stopped selling vehicles in the United States so we turned that property back into a service facility and added the Lightning Lane quick lube center to our service menu. During all this time we have become a consistent sales leader in the tri county area.

It has been a pleasure to serve the residents of Dunedin and the surrounding area for over 35 years. We strive every day to provide all our customers with the best customer service you can get. Requirements:

Valid Florida driver’s license (Required).
DMS and CRM experience (preferred)
Automotive sales experience 2 years (preferred)
BHPH sales experience 2 years (preferred)
Ability to read, write and peform basic mathematical calculations.
Proven record to establish facts and dray conclusions to structure deals.
Ability to negotiate and communicate with customers.
Driving history that meets company requirements to be covered by general liability insurance coverage.
Proficiency in fundamental technology and social media skills.

Physical Requirements:

Occasional lifting and carrying.
Ability to access vehicles, assist customers during test drives and access different areas of the dealership.
Ability to drive vehicles.
